We want you to love your Modern Ember purchase—whether it’s an electric fireplace, mantel, shelf, or any of our other products. If it’s not the right fit, you can return it within 30 days—no restocking fees, just the return shipping cost. Items must be in their original packaging and in resellable condition. If your order arrives damaged, please inspect it upon delivery and report any issues within 24 hours so we can help make it right.
When will my item be delivered?
We ship fast. Orders placed before 11 a.m. CST on business days ship out the same day. Orders placed after 11 a.m. ship the next business day.
Once processed, your order ships using the fastest, most reliable method based on its size and weight.
• Smaller items (like shelves and mantels) typically ship via FedEx and arrive in 2–5 business days.
• Larger fireplaces ship by freight carrier with scheduled curbside delivery, usually within 7 business days.

"As you can see from the photo this mantle is much smaller than a traditional fireplace so I made sure to include it for size reference. The box arrived safely and in perfect condition with all of its hardware included and flagged so you don’t accidentally toss it. The instructions were very easy to follow and between my husband and I, we had it up and level within 30 minutes. I think the value is great for what you receive I just wish that the seams on the sides were less visible. The texture is nice though and I appreciate the angles and depth that this offers to our space!"

"This mantel is gorgeous and would make a nice addition to any room! I wanted to install it as a floating shelf above the head of my bed and it serves that purpose well plus looks great. Installation hit a few snags - I think that the instructions could be a bit more comprehensive and include details such as recommended drill bit sizes. While the shelf does come with wood screws, it does not include any drywall anchors so if you plan on installing this product as a floating shelf, I’d recommend picking up some drywall anchors to expand your mounting options. The mantel itself is sturdy and hefty with a smooth, chic finish. It feels pretty durable and is large, but not imposing or unwieldy. Overall, I’m very happy with my new shelf and I love how it adds to the look of the room!"
